Kasper Palsnov

Kasper Palsnov project ‘The absurdities of the everyday’ shows a range of images with a fascinating and eye catching set of shots. I chose to look into Palsonov’s work as I loved the colour pallet of the images with its neutral and warm tones. For my images I plan to have them all slightly cooler than these, but I love the use of natural tones and shades. Another aspect to his work that I took an interest in was his unique and individual composition techniques. my favourite image out of this collection was the top right hand image. This was one of my favourites as I again loved the balance of colours within the image between the green and the aqua blue. This technique of blending colours together to compliment one another, is something that I strive for within my images. By achieving this within your images I find that it makes them more appealing and visually effective.

Palsnov states that “The foundation of my photography is curiosity, life is incomprehensible and that’s why I choose to approach things that I do not really understand. A curiosity comes first, then the camera.” This was something that I believe to be very true, as I am always striving to learn and try new things.
